At Essentielle, we’ve chosen to make our products Made in France, which goes far beyond a simple question of quality. It’s a strong commitment to employment, the local economy and the environment.
By opting for French manufacturing, we can guarantee the origin and traceability of our acoustic cabins, while reducing our carbon footprint.
Our cabins are 100% manufactured and assembled in France, at our 9,000 m² production site in the Drôme region, guaranteeing a high level of quality and compliance with current standards.

An eco-responsible approach validated by Eco-Impact

Sustainability is at the heart of our DNA. Our acoustic cabins are designed with eco-design in mind and are assessed by Eco-Impact, an independent body. We have achieved an A grade, rewarding our efforts to produce a product that respects the environment at every stage of its life cycle. This score is calculated on several criteria: the choice of sustainable raw materials, the manufacturing conditions, the optimisation of distribution and packaging circuits, as well as the modularity, durability and repairability of our cabins. At the end of their life, our products are integrated into a circular economy to limit their environmental impact.

Environmentally-friendly materials

We select our materials with the utmost care to ensure they have minimal impact on the environment:

Wood from sustainably managed forests to ensure responsible resource management.
100% recycled acoustic foam, manufactured in the Ardèche region of France, combining performance and environmental responsibility.
Oeko-Tex certified fabrics, guaranteed free from substances harmful to health and the environment.
A low-energy electrical system that optimises the energy efficiency of our cabins.

Optimised waste management

Nothing is lost, everything is transformed. We implement rigorous waste management to reduce our environmental impact:

Recovering wood off-cuts: our industrial boiler converts our production off-cuts into energy to heat our entire workshop.
Donation of unsold products: we work with a local recycling centre to give a second life to our unused materials.
Recyclable and recycled cabins: our Chile fabric (GABRIEL) is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, and our wood panels contain over 50% recycled materials.
Eco-design and circularity: our cabins follow the Cradle to Cradle principle. They can be completely disassembled and recycled, to minimise their environmental footprint throughout their life cycle.
